Spirit whispers in my ear this morning and so I try and piece together the messages to deliver them to where they are meant to be. We are asked to slow down and take a deep look at our life and what we want from it. Spirit has us ask ourselves: Am I where I want to be and am I on the way to where I want to go?

Today a very tongue tied bird tries to explain retrograde periods in a different light. I take a different approach to looking at this planetary occurrence and do my best to explain how retrograde helps us. Today I explain my very own personal mediation that I use all the time. It is a chakra meditation. The Charkra are the main energy points within your body. Working on these points will help you in many way. They help open blockages that may be causing you all kinds of problems from physical to mental and emotional issues. ENJOY!

Spirit urges us to stay positive. When life brings you worry, stress and pain… it is more needed than ever to try and keep your thoughts positive. Tomorrow is the New Moon and so today I talk more about going inside to do some work with our own Spirit. It’s time to release any old thoughts, ideas, beliefs and behaviors that no longer serve us. We have to clean house and get rid of the old stuff to make room for the new. It’s a time to embrace a new way of being… but first we must let go of the past.

Right in the middle of our weeks is a New Moon! The days leading up to the New moon, we should all be taking inventory of our lives and of our spiritual selves and begin the process of letting go of those things that no longer serve our life purpose. So many seem to be going through extremely similar things right now. It seems there is a large “batch” of people who are being moved along the same timeline.. going through the same things in different ways. Well this week feels like a positive week for us.I feel that there may be some good news coming either tomorrow or Wednesday and some small, subtle changes by the end of the week. The weekend, however, feels like it may be wrapped in a bit of mystery. Hopefully it’s a good mystery and it shall bring us some pleasant surprises!

In times past anyone could just write themselves into my story. As they wrote themselves in, I had to continuously rewrite what had been previously written by my soul. My world and my story ever changing by the characters that I allowed in. I didn’t even realize that they were interfering with my true story. They had so cleverly written their roles into my life that I thought they were suppose to be there. I had more control than I believed. So much of my story had been hijacked. I willingly let them all in. I have taken off the mask that has kept me from seeing the truth. This happens no more! I’m taking back my story. I’m ripping up the pages that no longer fit in and rewriting the ending for a much better life. New characters that wish to come into my story, be warned, for this is MY STORY! I have no problem taking your role out as quickly as you were written in. If your words and actions do not compliment this story of mine, we shall say our goodbyes right here and now. I am now a pro with the pen and I have gotten even better at rewriting this life. You see I have met with my spirit, time and time again and we have a new agreement… no hijacking allowed. This story ends the way it was originally written, with love, light and a life lived well.

I have found myself in such a negative space all weekend and have wasted an entire long holiday weekend in that space. Why? For what reason? I know how easy it is to slide into that space and how hard it is to get out of it once you are there… but if you really don;t want to be there… you can find your way out and back into a more positive space. You just have to want it ! It’s all in your head, all those things that drag you into that negative space. So that is where you have to start… within your own thoughts and change those to something more positive. That is where we begin changing our lives for the better!

It’s okay not knowing what you want out of life, it’s okay not knowing where you are going and it’s okay not knowing what calls to you. It’s okay as long as you are willing to do the work to figure it out. How do you figure it out? We figure out what calls to us by trying more things and having more experiences. We quickly learn what compliments our soul and what doesn’t. Along the way of having all of these experiences we find ourselves and what calls us.

If we continue telling ourselves that we can’t and we don’t know how, we hold ourselves back and we never realize our dreams and ambitions. We have to believe we can, believe we can do it and believe we can figure it out and walk in the direction of learning, understanding and accomplishing instead of the direction of giving ourselves permission to fail.

Oy! This is something I have found myself doing all the time. As soon as I realize I’m doing it… I stop! We put expectations on others without them even knowing it and when they don’t fulfill those expectations that they didn’t even know about… we feel sad, hurt and let down. The key here is recognizing our own behaviors and changing them within ourselves.

How many plans have you made, started and then somewhere before the plan was complete… you dropped it? If you want to see actual results from your plans you’ll have to see them through. You can’t start something, give up on it somewhere before it’s complete and expect the results of a finished project. Let’s call these plans “Unfinished Business” … Too much unfinished business will clutter your life just like your unfinished projects will clutter your garage.

The New moon has just passed and so now it is time to get to work on all the things we started. At this time you will find that your checklist is getting smaller, things on that list are getting done without much effort. Spirit says be careful not to focus too much on the things that seem to be a bit harder to get done. If you have to skip something on your list for now, that’s ok… you can come back to it later. Don’t dwell and don’t beat yourself up over any one task.

I don’t know how…. Oh how I hate to hear those words in today’s world with all the information available to you at your finger tips. When you say these words, you are giving yourself permission to stay right where you are. If you truly want to learn something, then you’ll find a way. If you truly want to move forward, you will. Excuses are just permission to not grow, not change, not move forward and to not be your best.

New Painting I just completed – The Witch’s Tree – Her roots buried deep within the Earth, the branches a symbol of her magic. She casts in all directions and weaves her magical intent through the lives of many. Reaching toward the stars, there are no limits to the powers within. She, all alone can accomplish all that she wishes. Her trusting familiar at her side, together they fear nothing. Death is just a mere shift in energy. Looking out into the world, they see all the possibilities before them and they cast, they heal and they make this world a better place.

The Summer Solstice – the longest day of the year… well the most daylight hours of the year anyway! The Summer Solstice reminds us to embrace our own light. It asks us to take a look inside and get to know and understand our light. What makes it grow brighter? What weakens our light? Are you hiding your light? Why? Are you afraid to let it shine? There is no need to fear the light within us. Embrace it! Let it shine!

I am a survivor of all kinds of abuse, from being molested as a child to being stalked, having a gun pointed at them and from physical, mental and verbal abuse, from being bullied and made fun of to being made to feel like I was nothing at all. Many times I wanted to check out of this life and end the pain. Every time I found a reason to stay. I survived… you can too. There is help, but you must tell others what is going on and ask for the help.

When you are feeling discouraged and maybe even feel like just giving up… Spirit urges me to remind you to hold on.. it’s not time to be giving up. It’s all about timing… being in the right place at the right time in front of the right person. You will get to where you are suppose to be.. just hang in there!

The Solstice is at the end of out week but we need to begin to prepare now. Spirit urges us to go inside and inspect the many aspects of our lives and of our inner self. Look at where you draw light and power from and then look at the areas of your life and within yourself that you need extra light and a bit more power. Strengthen the parts that need strengthening and lighten the areas that aren’t so filled with light. By the time the Solstice arrives you will be dancing and celebrating!
