Seeing Our Plans Through to the END!

How many plans have you made, started and then somewhere before the plan was complete… you dropped it?  If you want to see actual results from your plans you’ll have to see them through. You can’t start something, give up on it somewhere before it’s complete and expect the results of a finished project. Let’s call these plans “Unfinished Business” … Too much unfinished business will clutter your life just like your unfinished projects will clutter your garage.

Wishes Granted

IMG_3712With everyone talking about the abundance of Ladybugs all over the place I thought oh what a perfect time to spread the word about what the Ladybug brings into our lives.

The appearance of a Ladybug heralds a time of luck and protection in which our wishes begin to be fulfilled. Fall and Spring are the most abundance times for a person with a Ladybug totem.

Higher goals and new heights are possible with a Ladybug totem. Worries begin to dissipate.  New happiness comes about.

Their presence signals a time of shielding from our own aggravations and pests. Its coloring, red and black, is a warning to predators and we need to give that same clear warning to our enemies. Stay back!  I’m dangerous if attacked! Lady bug is never the aggressor, but it will defend.

Ladybug also cautions not to try to hard or go to fast to fulfill our dreams. Let things flow at their natural pace. In the due course of time, our wishes will all come true.

Daily Insight – Believing

guardian angel 2My Question today is: What do you Believe In?

Do you believe in miracles?
How about fairies?
Do you believe in the Boogie Man?
How about past lives?
Do you believe in Spirit?
How about wishes?
Do you believe in angels?
How about love?
Do you believe in ghosts?
How about karma?

You see it really doesn’t matter which if any of the above that you believe in …. I’ve left out the most important of all…. the one thing that makes all the difference.

Do you believe in yourself?
Why not?

When did doubt come in to play? Who told you that you weren’t worth believing in? Why is it so hard to believe in yourself?

Whatever the answers to the above questions… forget them all. These answers are useless, because YOU ARE WORTHY! You are worth believing in. YOU CAN DO IT! Whatever “it” is… if you truly believe in yourself and what your goal is .. it can be accomplished. It will take work and lots and lots of effort. It will take some “not giving up”, and it will take believing!

On the road to making your dreams come true… there will be times when one might stumble or fall… the key is getting back up and getting yourself back on track and moving forward. Believe in yourself and believe in your goals.  YOU ARE WORTH IT!

A great teacher it has been
I let go with a happy heart and cheerful grin

What has been done is done
No need to regret the web that has been spun

We start today with an outlook that’s brand new
Learning to love the ever growing spirit that lives inside you.

(from about.com) Dandelion is an herb that is beneficial from root to blossom. It is one of the most versatile and important herbs to learn about.

Dandelion is a multi-purpose herb. All parts of it are useful. From early spring, when the new leaves are steamed and eaten as a potherb, through the summer, the leaves and blossoms are harvested. In the fall, the roots are pulled after a frost. Even the white, milky sap is used as an effective wart remover. Dandelion is a diuretic that also contains potassium. It has been used as a liver tonic. Regular harvesting will keep the dandelion from going to seed and sowing itself. This will keep the spread of cultivated dandelions out of your lawn. No matter what use you want dandelion for, this easy growing plant is going to be a wonderful addition to your herbal garden.

A Moment of Perfection!

Perfection!

A thought came to mind yesterday and I told myself I should have written it down at that very moment before it got lost in shadows of my brain. I got busy and distracted and of course did not write it down but I do remember the basis of the thought.. it was only the exact phrasing that escapes me now. “The world is made up of a beautiful variety of imperfections… I consider myself just a tiny part of those imperfections.”

Late last night as my husband was looking through the lampwork beads he had been creating, I am once again confronted with this concept of what’s perfect and what’s not. What he thought was an imperfect bead was absolutely beautiful to me.. one of my all time favorites so far that he had made. He insisted it wasn’t usable because it wasn’t perfect… but to me … it was already perfect… perfectly beautiful.

This morning as I ponder more on this thought of perfection, a crow caws in the distance and I as turn to search from where the voice came… the sun is just peeking up from the hillside, the dew on the grass sparkles like little diamonds,  the birds patiently wait with their song in the nearby  trees as I top off the feeders, a cool breeze fills my senses with the refreshing smell of Spring and a smile takes shape from the inside out. In that perfect moment I knew. So I said, Yes Spirit … I understand now what I need to write about today.

Have a look around at the trees… so many shapes, sizes, color and species… who is to say which may be the perfect one. Further more, why does one even have to be perfect. To me, they are all perfect… they are all trees and within each one lies it’s very own distinct beauty.

dandelion….. and take a look at this dandelion.. nearly half it’s seed heads are gone… one dangles there to the side ready to take off with the slightest breeze…. is it perfect? YES, yes it is! It is as perfect a dandelion as any dandelion could be. Would a small child pass it up and not take a very big deep breath and blow with all their heart and soul in hopes for their wishes to come true? NOPE! So, yes, that dandelion is perfect.. no matter what it looks like … it is still a wish waiting to be made. PERFECTION in all it’s glory!

Take a look at the world for what it has to give and not how you think it should look. Now what do you see?

A Funny Thing Happened

IMG_20130226_150943A funny thing happened to me today. All last week I was quizzing folks at the office with: What did they want to be when they grow up? I was doing this for a  project I have in mind to do at some point.

Today .. I helped a new agent with some things and when it was all said and done she sent me a thank you email that stated:
“When I grow up…  I wanna be like you”

Funny part is .. she had no idea about the quiz project I was working on last week.

It was a really nice piece of my day and made me giggle thinking of how it intertwined with last weeks quizzing. It also makes me think of how we are so connected and how the things that you send out in the world do actually come back around to you … sooner or later. I was glad this one came back sooner.

It’s Your Dream

starfish dream catcherWhat is it you dream? Whether it be fluttering thoughts throughout the day that just will not leave you or those night time dreams that embrace you while you slumber… what is it that you dream?

What are you wishes? Your most sacred of desires? What is it that you really want from the inside out? What are your wishes?

What are your desires? What is that feeling burning deep within your soul? What are those thoughts that leave you feeling empty until this desire is fulfilled? What are your desires?

We all have those thoughts of something else inside us. Something we are meant to do… something we are destined to at least try. These thoughts fill our waking and sleeping moments… the question is: are you walking toward those thoughts or are you backing away from them?

Ask yourself this question and then ask yourself why? No matter the answer you give … ask why. Why are you walking toward this ? … Why aren’t you?

Now that you asked yourself these important questions.. I’m sure you now know what to do next.

In the Garden of Dreams

Most when they see this particular plant only see a random weed growing in their garden, messing up the landscape of their smooth cut, green grass.

When I see this plant I think of wishes and dreams coming true.

As a child I picked many a dandelion and with all the breath I could muster, I would blow and blow and blow, hoping to blow off every seed so that my wishes would come true. If ever I was successful in blowing off every seed, I truly knew that those wishes would indeed be granted.

At the first sign of Spring I would pick every dandelion I could find… one after another, blowing off every seed that I could. If unsuccessful once, then I’d find another and continue blowing and continue wishing. I believed that I could do it and with that belief I kept going.

I always felt that my dreams were within reach as long as I kept trying.

That’s the beauty of seeing the world through the eyes of a child.

May today you see the world through the eyes of a child as well and know that as long as you keep trying, your goals, your wishes and your dreams are within reach.

In Preparation of the New Moon

The New Moon

New Moon = NEW BEGINNINGS!!!

Now is the time to rid your life of all the not so needed crap and open your life to new beginnings, new possibilities, new life, new new new freshness in your life.

Just like your home, you need to think of your inner self as the home you carry around with you at all times. It needs to be cleaned out on a regular basis or it gets all cluttered up and before you know it you are depressed and overwhelmed with all the trash and clutter and you won’t even know where to begin to clear it out.

So take the needed steps to clear away the clutter so that you can enjoy the new, fresh, clean surroundings.  Throw out all the stuff and crap that is not needed and that is not productive or helpful to you and make room to finally breathe from within.

Keeping the Dream Alive

crystalballDon’t allow the best things in your life to die out because you give up something as special as a dream ..

It’s good to have dreams, hopes and ambition…  Our dreams keep us alive.. keep us going .. keep hope within our hearts.. Our dreams are to be cherished and our dreams are meant to be followed and then realized and finally to be lived..

Don’t ever let anyone make you feel that your dreams or hopes are silly .. if it’s in your heart and something you feel strongly about wanting to do … then do it .. do it with great passion and intent … it’s up to you to make your own dreams come true.. don’t sit around and wait for it to happen .. take action.

In the mean time.. it never hurts to lay your head down each night and wish upon the stars… by doing so you are confirming your wish.. your desire to make things happen ..

An Affirmation – the assertion that something exists or is true. ( or soon will be)

So lay down your heads tonight .. with a smile in your heart .. dream a dream of all dreams and dare to follow that dream.. realize it and live it ..

The first step in creating the life of your dreams .. is believing!
