So often our own personal misery comes from what we continue to allow in our lives. It is only when we decide to love ourselves enough to bring end to whatever it is that is bringing that misery… we begin to find inner peace, balance and love.

With a new moon cycle. It is time to start those projects you’ve been wanting to get done, try new things, new techniques and possibly even new ways of thinking.
Now is a good time to do an overlook of your life and get rid of anything that doesn’t belong. Start thinking about where you want the rest of your life to go and start doing the things to get you there. Keep positive thoughts and a positive outlook as you move forward and use the energy of this New Moon to help boost you to the new beginnings that you want/need in your life.

A Vision of Rebirth
This Vision came to me in March of 2006
As I drift off to sleep this cold, winter night in March underneath the full moon, the Storm Moon, I see a young native Indian man. He is very strong and wise beyond his years. He is a healer, what some might call a medicine man.
I lay before him in a trance like state as he begins his ritual. He starts off with chants and a bit of a dance. With leaves of some sacred plant tucked into his ear lobes he dances about my body, cleansing my soul and the air that surrounds me so that the healing process may begin. Blessing the area once cleansed, he continues with his mystic chants.
I see myself laying there, now bound by the feet and ankles … A white horse I see, this horse is there to carry me on my journey. A ritual of unbinding my legs now begins.. large knives or blades are heated by the blazing fire that roars in the circle, then used to cut away what ties me down. A white wolf appears.. by my side he takes a protective stance , he holds his position at my side to protect my spirit as the ritual continues through the night.
My head is then wrapped with some sort of large, green leafy plant anointed in the native medicines, my eyes are then covered as well with the same. Pink blossoms are then placed over my eyes.. Not sure what the flower is but it is fragrant, not strong but a gentle scent and the petals are long and oval shaped much like a star but with many more points. As I am being healed I am also being given certain gifts. At this time I do not question all that goes on, I accept the healing and welcome the gifts.
Natives at both my sides chanting and dancing all around me, I am then adorned with white seeds that are placed down the center of my stomach, from my breasts to my navel. I reach down to touch the ever faithful wolf that still stands guard at my side. As I stroke his fur, he leans in to my touch and yet maintains his stance to re-affirm that he remains to be my protector and shall not, under any circumstances leave my side. … To each side of me there are natives painting my body with ointments in healing colors. They paint on symbols of healing and rebirth… my insides are being healed for the next stage of the ritual. Now below my navel a large area is painted. This is where my womb lies. Oh yes, I see, now it is clear that I am about to give birth. Birth to who or what I ask…
Once the adornment is complete the medicine man and his fellow natives begin to chant at a stronger, louder, more intense pace. The birthing has begun and I see and image emerging from my own stomach. A figure cloaked in white .. What’s this I see? I am giving birth to my own self! Slowly I rise from within myself.. a long laboring task. Once I am fully born I look back to have a look back at the body I have just come from. Now nothing more than an empty shell. It looks as though all the useful bits were taken out and now all that is left is a thick skin of a shell. A tough thick skin, for that person that I came from had grown tough from many lifetimes of pain and suffering. I see I have taken the heart with me and yet left the brain behind. Maybe this is telling me that the old way of thinking is no longer needed and that new thinking is now possible. … Leaving behind also all the painful memories that cluttered the mind and held me back from truly progressing. My eyes I see I have taken as well, but they have been cleansed and renewed so that I may have a fresh, untainted look at the world around me.
With new eyes, new visions emerge., and with new visions come new hopes, new dreams, new goals and a whole new life.
As I am now fully free from my old self, I go to the white wolf to thank him for the devotion and protection he has given to me during this time of renewal. I kneel before him and look into his eyes and tears begin to fall from my newly reopened eyes. I am overcome with so much emotion for when our eyes met, I saw the heart and soul of this wolf. Strong and pure, full of love. A love so true that no sacrifice was too big. For I saw that the wolf would give his own life for my protection.
As I gather myself, I am told to rise and hold my head up high.. for now I am to see myself as a priestess and I needed to start living the part. I was told to recognize my gifts and embrace the new me that has emerged this cold March night. This would be my next great task in life, for I have never seen myself in such a position of stature. I was told that by accepting my new position was to truly love myself and it was less of a title that others would know me by and more of one that would be known to myself. Knowing who you are and accepting that and embracing it with love is the only way to inner peace and with your own inner peace you can now finally begin to help others heal. For your inner self is like your home and if your home is not in order you cannot expect to help others get theirs in order. As I agree to accept the new life that has been given.. I begin my journey.. walking down life’s path again, with a new perspective and new look at what the world has in store and what magic lies ahead.
With the white wolf at my side we begin down the path and I see myself transform into a wolf as well and we run off into the shadows of the night.. side by side we run off to start anew.. not in front or behind but at the side of my protector.

This New Year is even more special than most that have passed in that this year on the New Year we also have a New Moon.
The New Moon is a time of New Beginnings, a fresh start to take on new projects, new journeys and start new lives, traditions, new ways, new everything!
Cleanse yourself of the past and prepare for the days to come.
Here’s something you can do to help you bring things into focus at this time of a New YOU!
On two sheets of parchment paper you will make 2 lists:
The first list will be of all things you don’t want or no longer need in your life. Be specific!
The second list will be of things you want to keep in your life and things you would like to see coming into your life. Again, be specific. While writing these things out on your list be sure to visualize each of them coming into reality.
You will take the “Keep” list, roll it up, tie it with a ribbon, bless it and thank Spirit for being with you and place it in a safe place for the year.
You will then take the “Get Rid of” list and burn it in a fire. Watch that list burn and imagine all the things on that list burning out of your life with it. Be sure while you do these acts that you do them with love in your heart. You don’t want bad karma, mojo or intentions intertwined with your ceremony. Do all things with love. You don’t wish for bad to come to anyone or anything in your lists … you just no longer want or need them in your life so you should wish them away with love and kindness so that the parting be an easier transition for all who may be involved.
And as with all ceremonies you should take time to yourself to reflect, prepare and ground yourself before beginning. Cleanse the space, yourself, your mind and body before the ceremony. Close the ceremony with an offer of blessings to Spirit and all who may have been watching over you during the ceremony and for the year ahead.

Yesterday I began writing a poem about Fall, my thoughts quickly went to the end of summer and all that is no longer. I only got a few lines into it when I got stuck. I kept going back to it throughout the day… trying to finish it but something just wouldn’t allow it. This morning it was clear…. I wasn’t suppose to look at what has ended but at what has begun.
Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh … LOL
So here I stand with arms wide open ready to embrace the new season. I shall not mourn what has passed but remember fondly the great moments that were had. I look forward with bright eyes ready for the days to come and stand proudly in the moment, enjoying each day.
Bring on the crisp mornings, the colors of change and the new landscape before us.

The March Full Moon is known by many names: The Chaste Moon, the Seed or Worm Moon, the Crow Moon, Full Crust Moon, The Full Sap Moon or the Lenten Moon.
As the temperature begins to warm and the ground begins to thaw, earthworm casts appear, heralding the return of the robins. The more northern tribes knew this Moon as the Full Crow Moon, when the cawing of crows signaled the end of winter; or the Full Crust Moon, because the snow cover becomes crusted from thawing by day and freezing at night. The Full Sap Moon, marking the time of tapping maple trees, is another variation. To the settlers, it was also known as the Lenten Moon, and was considered to be the last full Moon of winter.
It is a time to plant mental seeds – thoughts of success and hope. This is also a time of purity and newness. It’s the time to bless the magical herbs and plants in your garden and to start preparing the soil for the seeds that you will plant. It’s also the time to mentally prepare yourself for new experiences, a new job, pregnancy, taking a trip, or bringing a new animal into your home.
Wave goodbye to Winter and hello to Spring’s New Beginnings!

What tomorrow brings…. Tomorrow is a new day… A new beginning….
Life is what you make it. You get what you put into it.
Life has it’s ups and downs and all-arounds … it’s not what happens to us but how we react to what happens to us that determines how our day will be, how it will end and how the next day begins.
You have the power within you to make your own life whatever you want it to be. Let’s do be reasonable tho, of course we would all like to be millionaires but that’s not likely to happen. We can create our own magic, our own happiness and our own success.
Many walk through this life seemingly asleep and zombie-like. They just go through the motions of the day without truly living. So much is lost for them. They do not see their own possibilities. Life is constantly buzzing all around them and yet they are numb to it.
We all go through periods of seclusion and detachment from the world.. how long that period lasts is up to us. Some seem to stay in that period for their whole lives. I am sad for those who feel stuck in that period. My wish today is that they are able to see the world with new eyes and see their way out of this dark time. I can’t imagine how it must be to live everyday without light, love and a zest for truly living.
If you take nothing else from my words today.. my hope is that you know these few things: You do have the power inside you to turn your world around. Life’s possibilities are endless. It is never too late. Dreams do come true. Life is worth living. Love and happiness are inside you always. Magic is real.

Daily Insight 11-7
New Beginning – Listen to your inner being and trust your intuition … old things will fall away painlessly as you start something new. This may be a new way of thinking, a new way of doing things or even new projects and or work.
Change – Change strengthens us… to more we allow it the stronger we become. I know it may sound strange but think about the changes you have gone through so far and take a look at where you are now. Have you not grown from your experiences? Have you not become stronger? Now you see. Don’t fight change… it’s going to happen sooner or later .. why drag out the process and make things far more complicated than they need to be.

It’s the new moon and time to start something new .. or at least time to start or begin something you have been thinking of doing or wanting to do… NOW is the time to do it!
Plant your seeds … get that garden going ..
Just make sure that with all things you begin.. begin each task with love and watch how it grows!
There is no time like the present .. stop telling yourself you will and just do it!
You’ll feel good about getting started … and by starting right now… you have giving yourself an additional boost by begiining his new task on the new moon… as long as you keep your eye on the goal .. you’ll see it through.

New Moon = NEW BEGINNINGS!!! Now is the time to rid your life of all the not so needed crap and open your life to new beginnings, new possibilities, new life, new new new freshness in your life. Just like your home, you need to think of your inner self as the home you carry around with you at all times. It needs to be cleaned out on a regular basis or it gets all cluttered up and before you know it you are depressed and overwhelmed with all the trash and clutter and you won’t even know where to begin to clear it out. So take the needed steps to clear away the clutter so that you can enjoy the new, fresh, clean surroundings. Throw out all the stuff and crap that is not needed and that is not productive or helpful to you and make room to finally breathe from within.
In the Darkness of the New Moon In the darkness of the New moon I fly about to see what there is to see… There is no light and no shadows to chase me.. Flying about the void, this darkened space… I let go my worries as the wind blows across my face.. My fears aside I look at starting something new….. And as I look within, to myself I must stay true….. Blessed be the tasks I begin this night … May they be in bloom by the Moon’s next full light… Fear not the darkness of the New Moon… Tis the time for new beginnings and to get yourself back in tune.. As I fly away on the currents this night when the moon in new… I begin my tasks and send out prayers and wishes of dreams coming true… Blessing to every man, woman, child and friend…. May you find happiness, love and riches of the heart….. And may your dreaming never ever end!
