Ooooooooh what a magical week we have in store for us! This week Spirit shows me that there is going to be a major sharing of love and light with the Universe on a grand scale. Dragonfly is connected to the symbolism of change and light. When the dragonfly shows up in your life, it may remind you to bring a bit more lightness and joy into your life. The dragonfly changes color as it matures and is a reminder that we should embrace our own transformation as we grow.

Swiftly buzzing through the air
Dancing on the breeze without a care.
Wings shimmering in the sunlight
Colors of change, taking flight.
From the water to the sky
Listen closely to the wisdom of the dragonfly
Don’t fear the changes in your life
For it doesn’t always bring one, strife
To transform is to grow
Bringing with it, wisdom in tow
Allow the light within, to shine bright

There is magic to be found every day.
Some days it is really hard to see the magic that is there, but it is still there.
Some days we really have to work on shifting our view to see the good in that day.
Some days it is easy.
Some days it’s right there in front of us, waving hello.
Some days it is hidden beneath a whole bunch of crap.
Some days we really have to dig.
Some days it’s a surprise.
Some days we need it more than others.
Some days we forget that its always there.
Some days, no matter how hard we look, we just can’t see it.
Some days all we need to do is feel it.
Some days it guides us.
Some days we don’t have to search.
Some days it saves us.
The magic is there… it is always there. If you can’t see it… look again. If that doesn’t work… keep looking. Eventually you’ll see it and if not today, there is tomorrow.

I woke up this morning with no idea what I was going to talk about today, so I have been throwing all kinds of topics around in my head. None of these seemed to be the topic of the day. For a moment I thought, oh well I may not have a blog to post today and then life happened.
My co-workers started making their way into the office and I felt my thoughts falling into a big ol’ bucket of negativity as they began all their banter with each other and interrupting the peace and tranquility I’ve had so far this morning. I thought to myself, “Wow! I really might be anti-social today”. I stepped outside to get away from the noise for a moment and I thought, this is a good time to take my daily sky watch photo.
Stepping outside, I found not a cloud in the sky… only sunlight and blue skies. Great, but kind of boring from a photography point of view. Heavy sigh. So as I was feeling more relaxed and walking around, I looked up and saw the sunlight twinkle in and out of the crape myrtle flowers blowing in the wind and my thoughts were instantly lightened. I took my phone out and started snapping photos, trying to catch the light as it was peeking through the branches. It was a fun, playful experience… dancing with the tree, the sun and the wind. Finally I caught it!! I caught the light!
You see today’s message is a simple one. “There is light where you choose to see it.”
I am now out of my anti-social pit of negativity and in a more positive frame of mind.
Thank you Spirit and thank you to the sun and the wind for the playful dance beneath the crape myrtle tree.

There’s a Little Something In My Soul…
There’s a Mighty Dragon in my Soul.
His fire runs through my blood, coursing through my veins,
building the flames within that push me further than I’ve ever been.
There’s a Fairy in My Soul.
She prances and flitters to and fro, sprinkling her magic all over me as I grow.
Tiny she may be but her magic is greater than I’ve ever seen.
There’s a Wicked Witch in My Soul.
She casts her spells and boils her brew, giving me a life I never knew. Her cackle contagious just like a smile, sharing with me knowledge from a distant isle.
There’s a Healer in My Soul.
Shaking bones and chanting words that resonate deep within. Collecting energy from the air, healing with a sacred prayer. Sage and incense smoke rising to the heavens, giving me knowledge of all these sevens.
There’s a Monster in My Soul.
Big and scary, feeding upon my fears. Kind and gentle, wiping away the tears. He’s there for my protection, certainly a different kind of astral connection. Giving me the ability to face all those things that scare me, his strength is certainly always there for me.
There’s a Unicorn in My Soul.
Mighty and proud, majestically strong. He carries me from one life to another. Safe passage from here to there. His strength, greater then that of ten bear. A stallion getting me to where I need to be, a truly magnificent sight to see.
There’s a Bright and Shining Light in My Soul.
Consuming my being, ridding me of the darkness that lurks inside. No shadows left to fear, only a loving light with the kindness of a deer. Healing me from inside – out. Leaving behind all the worry, stress, fear and doubt. Shining brighter than the nearest star, releasing me from all of this life’s scars.

When a storm is approaching … focusing upon the clouds won’t stop or slow the storm. In fact … by focusing on the storm alone you ensure that you are fully enveloped within it. Shift your focus to the light on the other side of the storm and before you know it that storm will have come and gone leaving far less devastation in its path.

But still, I am lit from within by its light
Flickering away deep in my soul

The light is always there

It burns steady, deep inside my soul

Take a moment to think about your own inner light,
Do you nurture it?
Do you smolder it?
Do you keep that light kindled?
What do you kindle it with?
Do you feel the warmth of your own light?
Do you allow it to shine?
Do you dowse it’s flame?
How do you feed your light?
Do you feed it?
Are you afraid of it?
Are you afraid of what others will say or think when they see your light?
Do you know it’s color?
Do you feel it’s strength?
Do you know where it lives?
Just a few questions to ponder while you sleep tonight.
Don’t be afraid to shine your light on the world…. the world could use more of us shining our light instead of hiding it away.

No matter where you are along your path in life… we are all living beneath the same “SUPER” moon.
Not all are fortunate enough to get a good view of it’s brillance tonight … but have faith in knowing that it glows just as brightly in your sky behind those clouds as it does in my not so cloudy sky.
Step outside and have a look .. enjoy it’s brillance and take in some of that amazing energy.
