Dreams do come true. It’s starts with the dream, believing in that dream… then action to make that dream happen. When you do all the things you are suppose to do.. dreams magically come true. In times past anyone could just write themselves into my story. As they wrote themselves in, I had to continuously rewrite what had been previously written by my soul. My world and my story ever changing by the characters that I allowed in. I didn’t even realize that they were interfering with my true story. They had so cleverly written their roles into my life that I thought they were suppose to be there. I had more control than I believed. So much of my story had been hijacked. I willingly let them all in. I have taken off the mask that has kept me from seeing the truth. This happens no more! I’m taking back my story. I’m ripping up the pages that no longer fit in and rewriting the ending for a much better life. New characters that wish to come into my story, be warned, for this is MY STORY! I have no problem taking your role out as quickly as you were written in. If your words and actions do not compliment this story of mine, we shall say our goodbyes right here and now. I am now a pro with the pen and I have gotten even better at rewriting this life. You see I have met with my spirit, time and time again and we have a new agreement… no hijacking allowed. This story ends the way it was originally written, with love, light and a life lived well.

We all do this… we paint a picture of how we think our lives should be, what it should look like, who is in it and how they look and behave. Think about that image you have painted and ask yourself where does that come from. How much of what is in that picture is you and how much of it comes from other sources like environment, family, friends, media even. Be careful not to push away people because they don’t match the painting in your head… don’t pull away from opportunities because they aren’t in your painting. Stop looking at that painting and start living.

Our experiences in life are our stories. They happened, they are real but now they are nothing more than thoughts. We hold dear the stories that enlighten us, that make us feel good, we remember the lessons learned from the teaching stories… but we let go of the story itself. We are not the story. We are the spirit that had the experience but we are not the story itself. Whatever it is you need to let go of… let it go… it is nothing more than a thought to you now…. it is not what is happening right here, right now… it’s in the past which makes it nothing more than a story… a thought.

I think mine might be quite long because it incorporate so many things and at the end to sum it up .. it would be that my story was about not giving up. Not giving up on people, on my goals and dreams, on love, and not giving up on myself…
