Today, Spirit asks that we spend a good deal of time reflecting within. Take a good look around… rearrange the furniture of your soul, throw out what’s no longer working and bringing in something new to help bring balance. Give yourself love and support and seek out whatever it is that is missing.

Listen to Your Intuition
Connecting with Your Magical Self
Spirit tells us this morning how to connect with our very own magical spirit. We have to learn how to push everything else from the outside world away and learn how to listen to what our own spirit is being called/pulled toward. Everything we need to know is inside us.
Many Blessings,

Being in Tune with Yourself & the Universe
Oh boy.. what a hard lesson it is to trust your own intuition. When we fight against our own inner knowing, we complicate our lives and make our journey so much harder than it needs to be. In this video I explain and give you a funny example. Learn to TRUST YOURSELF!
Trusting Your Inner Knowing
When faced with options and feeling like you are being pulled in many directions… Learn to trust your inner knowing. Your heart and soul already know what to do and where to go.. you just have to learn to listen to it much more carefully. In this video I give an exercise to help you figure which option your Spirit chooses.

Finding the Wisdom Hidden Inside
We are born with an inner knowing that for the most part in the majority, goes completely untapped. Finding the wisdom hidden inside yourself takes patience, practice and an ability to quiet the mind. You see as children, we live in that inner knowing. Can you remember back to your childhood for a moment? Think about some of the things that you understood without anyone telling you, think about the things you believed without ever being subjected to it, think about the things you did without over-thinking that turned out in your favor…. think back to that time.
In the process of growing up and being “taught” what to think, we forget what we already knew.
How to find that hidden wisdom:
Be patient with yourself.
Practice meditation and practice listening to your intuition.
Learn how to quiet the mind.
It’s not something that happens quickly. I’m sure you will doubt yourself many times before you start actually listening. You will get frustrated and you will give up many times. You will keep trying and eventually you will find yourself trusting that inner knowledge. It’s well worth the time, effort and practice. When we follow our instincts, we find ourselves in a better place, mentally, physically and emotionally. We have to learn the difference between fear and lessons learned. There is a part of us that alarms us when we are about to do something that isn’t good for us… only you can determine if this alarm is going off from fear or from a previous lesson.
There are many forms of meditation. Try all of them until you find ones that work for you. When you find something that works, practice, practice, practice. The more you are able to master the art of meditation, the more you will find yourself hearing and understanding your own inner guide.

Tuning into Your Own Rythms
This card speaks for itself… you must tune into the powers within and allow yourself to be guided by your own forces. TRUST in that force that guides you and understand that you are connected to all things. You are far more powerful than you admit. Take time and be patient with yourself. Close your eyes and feel the connection with all things. Listen to what those connections are telling you. Trust it! Embrace it! Own it!

Guided
Have you had that feeling that you are being guided to do something particular for some unknown reason?
I get that feeling all the time. I never know how it will turn out until it does 🙂
So today I am sitting at my desk at work and I am drawn to get up with my camera and go outside. I walk out the front door for a moment and it didn’t feel just right so I walked toward the back of the building and just as I stepped outside .. I looked down and found this staring back at me .. waving hello!
Instead of picking it up I just took it’s photo and whispered a little thank you.
I walk on over to a stone retaining wall and saw this dandelion standing all alone it’s it bright and beautiful glory. My thought
was… how great it is to take pleasure in ordinary things like this lone dandelion.
I stepped back for a moment and as I looked down … here was another clover waving hello 🙂 … again I just took it’s photo and whispered my thank you.
I could hear some birds in the distance making a bunch noise. I figured it was young ones wanting to be fed. I stepped down toward the end of the wall to see what else there was to see and I looked up to find this Red-Tailed Hawk being bullied by a Mockingbird. He must have been too close to the Mockingbird’s nest.
Here’s the following photos that I was lucky enough to capture.
When you follow that inner guide.. you just never know what experiences await!

Trust Yourself
Trusting others is one thing but when it comes to trusting yourself…. how well do you do?
If you’ve had trouble trusting yourself.. you’re definitely not alone. That seed of doubt lives within us all … who planted it there? I have no idea! But is sure would be nice to get rid of it!
Whether is comes to following our intuition or matters of the heart … many of us struggle with trusting that thing that stirs inside us. Our own inner guide. Over the years I have let go of that fear of “what if I’m wrong” but still it sometimes shows it’s ugly head. It’s a battle within, daily to trust what is felt and what our brain or heart wants us to feel or know.
Often when we follow that inner guide… we are guided is a good direction. I can’t remember ever following my intuition and it ending up wrong. I do recall often .. ignoring my intuition and then sit there face palmed asking myself .. why oh why didn’t I do what I already knew to do!!!
Start by trusting things you feel are small and as you start trusting yourself, you’ll find yourself trusting that guide more and more. Personally, I am still working on my own trust … but I can tell you it is well worth it. When I follow my guide and the sun shines bright on a path less complicated by my doubt … I smile from within and am encouraged all the more to continue building that trust within myself.
Many Blessings,
