There’s a place where stories are born. A place so magical, so amazing… a place truly like no other you have ever seen. This place is filled with every emotion: fear and love, sorrow and pain, joy and wonder, ecstasy and fright.
Painted with every color, every shade, every hue. A place where magic waits to be born.
You’ll find yourself falling in love by a babbling brook, writhing in pain from a loss so great you can hardly breathe. You’ll find adventure on a mountain side, joy inside of a fairy ring and experience great fear in a darkened cave. There are no limits, no boundaries within this place. What you dare to dream can come to life right before your eyes. Creatures of all shapes and sizes, from every corner of the world.. from every walk of life.
Each experience, like no other. Each moment more magical than the one before. A place where the angels sing upon a soft whisper into the winds from ancient times, where devils dance within the flames of unrequited love, where the rain kisses your soul with every drop from the heavens above. Dreams, magic, adventure… they all wait for you there in the place where stories are born.
Dare to step inside this place… experience it for yourself and journey where ever your imagination takes you.
I just read a great quote: Before going to bed, forgive everyone and sleep with a clean heart.
This is something I’m sure we all need to practice. I cannot even begin to count the hours of lost sleep because I was holding onto something negative.
Ok let’s do a practice run now:
I forgive your stupidity and your blindness
I forgive what you don’t understand and your ignorance
I forgive you for what you don’t even realize that you’ve done to my soul
I forgive you for not seeing the best in me
I forgive you for not understanding
I forgive you
I forgive myself for hurting and for keeping it locked inside
I forgive myself for allowing the pain to drain me
I forgive myself for not being able to let it go
I forgive myself
When I was a child, I remember being happy for no reason… I was just happy or was it that I wasn’t particularly unhappy… hmmmm, definitely something to ponder. Somewhere along the way I lost my own happiness. I don’t know how, I don’t know when. All I know is that somewhere along the line I started looking to others to help me find happiness. I think most, if not all of us do this. Not sure there is an age when this happens or any particular event… it just seems to happen. I’m not saying there aren’t events in our childhood that help push this along, because I know a lot of tragic things happen through our lives at all ages. I’m just saying that somewhere, somehow… we all reach this point.
We spend much of our time looking to others to create our happiness. Whether it be our parents, spouses, children, friends or even strangers… somewhere down the line we forget how to be happy on our own and feel that we can’t be happy unless this person does that, or behaves like this or whatever. When we were younger I don’t recall ever “needing” anything to be happy.. I just was. So why in our adult years is it so hard to find that again?
I know that happiness starts within and for the most part I am able to live in many happy moments… sometimes the old ways still creep up on me and I find myself unhappy because I’m looking for someone else to make me happy. It’s just a behavior I’ve taught myself unknowingly and a behavior I try hard to break. It’s that moment of realization about what I’m doing and why that then turns my sadness around and I begin again to feel happy just because I am and I deserve it.
Here’s to hoping you all can find your own happiness inside and here’s hoping I keep breaking that chain of behavior when it starts to creep up again!
Every morning for the past several weeks I am greeted by the crows caw… I hear them as I’m crawling out of bed at 5am and then again when I step outside my door.. they are there to say good morning. When I get to work I often hear them in the distance giving their wake up call. This morning was no different .. only they were close enough to snap a few clicks. Most associate morning wake up calls with the rooster .. but for me it is the crow. 🙂

The August full moon known as the Wyrt Moon, the Wort, Barley, Corn, or Red Moon, is a time of abundance, agriculture, and marriage. This is the time to collect your magical herbs and store them for the winter or share them with others. Remember to give an offering back to the Earth for her generosity. At this time of the year, you might want to do magic to help someone else reap the benefits of the Earth’s abundance. (With that person’s permission, of course!) This is also a good time to make a move at work for that higher level position. If you have become pregnant, this is the time to concentrate your energies on having a healthy pregnancy.
And as with all full moons.. remember to set out your crystals and magical tools so that they may recharge with the Moon’s energy 🙂
Shared from my photo blog: I have had one really stressful week…. and things still aren’t coming together as hoped.. but hopefully soon I’ll find a moment to relax. I stepped outside the office a few minutes ago just to get some fresh air and as I was walking around with camera in hand I said … ” I need a nice big butterfly to come by and share with me it’s magic”. Just then I looked up to find a feather sticking up out of the grass… and then another just over by the edge of the building … I picked up my feathers and continued walking around … just trying to find a way to let go and relax for a bit before going back inside to get some work done. When I popped around to the front of our building a butterfly… oops nope a month (upon closer examination) fluttered by and landed on a rose… I said “it’s no butterfly .. but it’ll sure do!” “Close enough!” … as I walked around the last little bit of building another feather was on my path.
Today’s message: Be thankful for the small blessings that come your way.
So I’m sitting here in the office and I keep feeling drawn to post some daily wisdom for the day. I pull out my cards.. shuffle.. shuffle.. shuffle… Two cards pop out if the deck together. I flip them over and this is what I saw:
Three of Water – Fullness
Enjoy the fruits of your labor. Make no rules of what should happen next.. enjoy what is offered and stay open for new surprises.
Seven of Earth – Depletion
Expecting something increases our chances of disappointment. Stay in the moment, live in the now. Allow yourself time to rest and be mindful not to project any negative thinking into the future.
Together they show you how you can be full and next minute depleted of all. Be careful that you remain in the moment and take that time to enjoy all the fruits of your labor.. even the tiniest tomato can be as savory as a big plump one… so enjoy what is offered and don’t throw away that fullness with expectations of what happens next…. allow “next” to come on its own time and for now.. enjoy the life before you.
Thisis the phenomenon of recognizing patterns, shapes, and familiar objects in a vague and sometimes random stimulus. It’s the result of your brain trying to “make sense” of input that really has no sense to find in it. This is seen often in inkblot tests, where random splatters of ink suggest different images to different people.
I do this all the time.. I see faces and other images in patterns every day. Today wasno different.. I took a photo of a rainbow and captured a face!
Well I have decided to move my website from where it sat … over here to wordpress.. I’ll be working on getting these two additional blogs filled so please bear with me while I get reorganized and settled into the new place.
You can watch my progress by clicking the two links at the top of this blog. And you can also sign up to each of the others to follow them .. that way you get an email each time I add something new and stay up to date right along with me.
If you want something new in your life…
You have to first OPEN YOURSELF TO THE POSSIBILITIES
Change is good but can be ever so scary. In order for positive changes to take place in your life you have to let go of any fears that may be in your way and open yourself to the possibilities that await.
We often block our own growth by allowing fear to get in our way. Remember that fear has its place but that place is not as a road block for your success.
Chant of the day: I Open Myself to Positive Change. I Open Myself to Progress. I Open Myself to Healing, Love and Prosperity.
