I just read a great quote: Before going to bed, forgive everyone and sleep with a clean heart.
This is something I’m sure we all need to practice. I cannot even begin to count the hours of lost sleep because I was holding onto something negative.
Ok let’s do a practice run now:
I forgive your stupidity and your blindness
I forgive what you don’t understand and your ignorance
I forgive you for what you don’t even realize that you’ve done to my soul
I forgive you for not seeing the best in me
I forgive you for not understanding
I forgive you
I forgive myself for hurting and for keeping it locked inside
I forgive myself for allowing the pain to drain me
I forgive myself for not being able to let it go
I forgive myself
Many Blessings,
Raventalker
This is beautiful!
Thank you 🙂
Sometimes it’s so much harder to forgive ourselves than it is to forgive others, definately gonna practice this.
so very true!
I was going to say the same thing. I fret much more when I have done something stupid and hurt someone’s feelings (foot in mouth disease). Thanks for posting it.
We must remember always to forgive. “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do”
