What’s Holding You Back Today From Chasing Your Dreams?

Is it money?

Is it Know-how?

Is it time?

Is it opportunity?

What is it that holds you back today?

Take your dreams in your own hands today and do something .. even if it is only to sit down and draw/write out a plan of action.

Do something today that will help you step a little closer to your dreams.

dream catcherTo have a dream/goal and do nothing to bring it into reality is a sad loss.

Even if the dream is never fully brought into creation..  if you work toward that goal/dream..    you will have at least tried.  But if you do nothing to bring that dream into reality .. it is lost forever.

Take a chance .. and do something today that will bring you one step closer to that dream.

You just never know.. with each step you become that much closer and before you know it … that dream/goal might be staring you right in the face.

You’ll never know until you try.

Go ahead .. step closer to your dreams today!!!

Life has it’s

ups and downs and all arounds … it gets crazy and hectic .. it’s also wonderful and fun.

Today … I just want you to have fun.. enjoy life… do something today to make yourself smile.. and maybe even make others smile.. laugh… love and giggle ….

At the end of your days here on Earth … my wish is that you will be able to answer YES to the question “Did you enjoy the ride?”

So go on… do something unexpected today and have fun!

Climbing the wall

castle wallLast night I had a dream…. many things went on in the dream but what stood out most for me was a moment about climbing a wall..

I was in this large brick building .. really huge… seemed vey open

Some guy came along and was showing off what he could do.. he jumped onto the wall and was scaling the wall with bare hands and feet ..  I said to him … I can do that .. and began scaling the wall as well..

I thought to myself … of course he can go higher than me .. he’s much stronger than me…

I continued to climb for the sake of climbing …. as he just bounced all over the place showing off

Suddenly I realized I could as well climb just as high… but I didn’t … I kept that to myself and just let him show off

It was enough for me to know I could. I smiled to myself.

Once I came to the realization that I could do it .. I climbed down and landed my feet firmly on the ground… dusted off my hands and went about my business. With a smile of knowing inside me.

You see sometimes that’s all it takes… realizing that we can do something that we once thought we couldn’t.

Once you know you can.. you choose to do or not to do .. you don’t just not do it because you “think” it can’t be done…

The power of knowing is a great thing and can change your world completely.

Writing the story of your life…

Writing the story of your life…

If you were to write the story of your life .. what kind of book would it be?

Would it be full of happiness? Sorrow? Adventure? Romance? Mystical Experiences? Mayhem and Chaos? Hardship? Mystery? Miracles?

What would you highlight?

Where would it begin and what sort of ending would you hope for?

Would it have been a life of learning or teaching or a bit of both?

Would it be a life filled with happiness .. interrupted by moments of something other?

Would be a life time of hardship and sorrows with brief moments of happiness scattered about?

Would you highlight the best moments of your life or the worst?

Which chapters would you leave out and which ones would you speak about most?

Who would the heroes be?

Who would the villains be and who won the battles?

Were there any wars fought? How many did you win and how many were lost?

Was it even about winning or losing?

Was it a life lived or a life that passed you by?

What would the story of your life tell us?

Just a bit of something to think about …. 🙂

Imagine that we are like books … most know us only by our cover … some know us a bit deeper and have read our inner flap … even fewer know our whole story.

Just as with a book.. you can’t get a full understanding of its contents just by it’s cover .. you gain a bit more knowledge once you read the inner flap of that book…but that will only be a short summary … certainly not the whole story…. to understand fully its contents you must read through the whole thing from beginning to end.

We all have many chapters within us …. some we have finished, some we have not yet finished, some we cut short, some we still have ahead of us to write.

Fear of Failure

If this rose were to have a fear of failure … it would have never bloomed. We would have never seen it’s beauty.

My job is to help agents succeed in their business.. I am constantly looking for new ways in which they can grow and expand their business… that’s my day job….

In my personal life I try and use my own experiences in the same way .. hoping to help others heal, grow and find their own peace and happiness as I try and do the same for myself…

This morning Spirit gently whispered to me… it’s not because they don’t want to.. it’s because they are afraid.

Often I get “what I call”  excuses … from this person and that about why they can’t do this or learn that … or whatever …

… and I get frustrated…  You know the saying .. “You can lead a horse to water….”,  well thats how I often feel when trying to help others whether it be in their professional or personal lives.

Personally I fail all the time… but for me it’s an adventure… certainly not a fear ..

I do my best .. dust myself off and try again … sometimes it never works out .. eventually I move on to another approach if thats the case .. and again I may fail … but if I don’t at least give it a try .. I’ll never know.

My message to everyone today is “it’s ok to fail” tomorrow is another day … all the great inventors failed many times before getting it right … the world won’t end .. and time won’t stop.

What’s not ok is not trying at all.

So what if it takes several tries or even a hundred … at least you gave it a go.

Believe in yourself and hug yourself for trying….

Spirit gently whispers in my ear … PURPOSE

Let go of the idea that you have to find your purpose as if you are not already living it.

We each have our own purpose and you may be surprised to find out that the purpose of life is the same for all of us.

It’s in living … living life well and becoming and being the best that we can.

We were born with love and in becoming who we are we struggle and sometimes think we have lost that love … we haven’t … it’s there… it’s waking up to realize that it never left us.. not for one second .. it was just waiting for us to notice.

It’s often hardest to see what’s right there in front of our faces.

just sayin….

The February Full Moon

The February full moon … also known as the Storm Moon, the Death or Quickening Moon

This is a time to release all things that you have been holding on to from the past …

Release that baggage .. don’t hold on to it .. Spring is just around the corner and you’ll need to be traveling light … don’t carry that old baggage with you into the time of awakening.

We tend to hold things in while going through a time of hardship or turmoil.. to keep us from falling apart in the middle of it all… now is a good time to release it.

Step out in the moonlight tonight and just let it go…. cry, scream, laugh, sing if you need to … whatever it is you need to do to let it go… go for it .. let it go!

Burn a bit of smudge and breathe in the goodness.. releasing all that is holding you down or holding you back.

Spirit whispers in my ear … there are great things coming to you this Spring .. there will be much to do .. so let go of whatever burdens you now … the time will come when you will need to be able to move quickly … and think fast … holding o to past baggage and burdens will hold you back from moving forward… it’s ok to let it go… you can do this…. the world won’t fall apart … just release it and watch as miracles happen right before you.

Today I feel Spirit working through me and so I must pass on the messages that I receive.

Here we go…

~|~ STRIKE while the iron is hot … don’t wait for it to cool .. trust your instincts… allow yourself to be guided with your inner knowing

~|~ It’s ok to slow down … listen to your own body and intuition .. not that of others

~|~ Not all is what it seems .. you need to distance yourself from this thing that has been bothering you and look at it from an outside perspective

~|~ A picture is worth a 1,000 words.. your answers are right there in front of you .. don’t dismiss it or excuse it away

~|~ All this worry is making you sick… you know the reasons…you even know the cure… now it is up to you to make the decision that is best for YOU ..

~|~ Each of us creates the life we live in … if you don’t like your life… don’t belly ache about it .. change it… you made it the way it is… you can change it

~|~ Waiting to do the inevitable is just prolonging the pain and torment … so stop waiting and just get on with it.

~|~ Just because Simon said jump off the bridge didn’t mean you had to follow suit …. use some common sense and be your own person… follow your own rules … your intuition will not guide you wrong

~|~ Whats done is done.. there is no going back .. only forward .. just watch your step next time.

OH and my grandmother says … piss or get off the pot!

The days, now getting longer as they grow
The sun sharing with us it’s warm and healing glow

It’s time to think about what we will harvest this year
Ready the seeds… the time is growing near

Preparation and work go hand in hand
If we want to see something come from our plan

A bit of work and a bit of time
Take care of the details and all will be fine

Nurture and trust what you sow
When it’s time to harvest, you’ll know

Take care in all that you do from here on out
Fertilize your dreams and let go of all doubt

Soon the work you’ve done will be seen by all
A great harvest you’ll reap as the raven sings it caw

So go now and make your plans
Get ready to work and don’t fear a little dirt on your hands!

Where is the wisdom?

Where is the wisdom?

It is in every drop of rain… every ounce of pain.

It is in every laugh, every giggle .. it’s even in the inch worms wiggle.

It is in every breeze … it comes and goes with ease.

It is every blade of grass, in every day that has come to pass.

It is in the tears and collected through the years.

It is in every animal, every being… it’s in everything, even those that are not seen.

It is in the silence and in the words, and carried on the wings of every bird.

It is in the wind, the earth, the water and the flame… and is known by many a name.

It is in the heart and in the soul.. is more than what you learn, its what you already know.

Where is it?

Where is the wisdom?

It’s in the air and below your feet … it’s sometimes a trick and sometimes a real treat!

It’s whats said and whats left to guess … it’s even in every jest.

It is more than an action, more than a word… its even sometimes quite absurd!

It’s kind and its cruel… an can turn the smartest of men into a fool.

Where is is? You want to know….

It’s here, there and everywhere you go….

Message From Spirit

Today Spirit guides me to ask this one question…

The steps you are taking …. are they taking you down the path that is yours or someone elses?

Do we follow our own hearts and dreams or do we follow that of others? …

We cannot make everyone happy but we can do what is needed to make ourselves happy …

By trying to live your life by the terms of another we do not live for ourselves and in the end neither will be happy..

For they will find that they were the only ones who could fulfill their own happiness and the same is said for each of us.

Being the Antenna

ravenwitchAs I was pondering what to post today for your daily dose of wisdom. I felt stuck… unsure of what to post about. And then in came to me. As soon as I let go of trying to force an idea or thought into my head… it was just there.

When trying to tune into the world around you, you must let go … don’t force it.

When we try to force ourselves into something, it rarely turns out the way we would imagine. No matter what it is, be it a thought, a project, a job, words of wisdom, or forcing yourself into “seeing” or “hearing” what normally goes unseen or unheard, it is best to let go of trying to force it and just allow it to come to you.

You must let down the walls and let go of trying so hard.  You are clogging the drain… Blocking the freeway… interrupting the signal. You have to clear the pipes and let it flow through you .. don’t try to hold on too strong or force it into being.

(keep in mind I am not speaking about what we do to manifest things into our lives .. that is a whole other blog ..lol… )

Think of yourself as an antenna … you must allow the current to flow through you to pick up the signals … antennas don’t hold on to the sound waves to send you the music … they just allow it to flow through them .
