It’s ok to be afraid.. it’s just not ok to let your fears hold you back.
Fear causes us to make poor decisions, it causes us to miss out on opportunities, iy steals away our happiness and it holds us back from moving forward in life in general.
For one to overcome, you must understand your fears and from when and where they were born and then you must see your fear all the way through.
When entering the lake for the first swim of the year … we often walk around the water’s edge .. dipping our toes in to test the water … to get past this hesitation we must suck it up and jump right in. Once in, we laugh at ourselves and either say holy crap that’s cold! or Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh… that wasn’t so bad!
We would have never truly known if we had stopped at just dipping in the toe… to know the truth of how that water would feel … we had to dive all in.
So today will you dip in your toe or dive all in?
