I was thinking today, taking a bit of time to reflect. I looked over all the bad days I’ve had and all of my best days. I found something common in each of them. Soooooo … I tell you what I found! TREASURE!

Today I speak about life and why it’s worth living. I have had more than my share of days where I felt like I couldn’t do it anymore. Every day I CHOSE to LIVE. My dreams are worth pursuing… I deserve happiness and love and I’m not going to stop breathing til those dreams of mine come true. It’s a matter of choice. We choose to live in a world of pain focusing on what’s wrong or we choose to see the love, light and joy life offers us and we do what we can to make it better. It is a choice that I choose for ME!

It is my belief that we choose the life we want before we are even born. We are given the gift of seeing it from beginning to end before we make that choice to begin this journey. It is this thought that would come to mind every time I was ready to quit. I knew there was something amazing and wonderful somewhere in this life I chose. This thought has kept me going.. I know within my entire being that it’s out there waiting. I’m going to keep living so that I can become part of that something amazing.

Today is 9-11, if nothing else it teaches us how precious life is and how quickly it can be taken from us. We have to be present in this moment and every moment that comes. Stop wasting your moments by living in the past and worrying about tomorrow.

Often in life we choose to settle. We settle for things that do not compliment our Spirit. When we make choices that don’t fill our soul and compliment our spirit, when we settle for less than.. those things always have a way of falling away from us. Sooner or later they will go away because they were never meant to be. We need to make a conscious effort to be awake in our own lives and make better choices for ourselves.
